Scentsy is headquartered in Meridian,Idaho and is lovingly owned and operated by Orville and Heidi Thompson. In 2010 Scentsy celebrated it’s 6th anniversary,and it’s 1st anniversary in Canada!
My dear friend (and now sponsor) Callie Hanson lives in Oregon and is a Scentsy consultant. As soon as Scentsy made the move into Canada in 2009,Callie contacted me and I didn’t hesitate for a second and bought my Scentsy starter kit.
The funny thing about all of this is that this is totally out of character for me. I have never,ever done anything like this before,and have often been heard saying that I’d ‘rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon than have to sell anything’.
I have not had to eat those words however,because Scentsy really does sell itself. Once a person catches that first scent and sees all the beautiful choices in warmers,they are hooked!
Besides selling Scentsy,I’m a Canadian Mum,married for 16 years with two teenage girls. We are currently loving life in a small town on Vancouver Island. Besides selling Scentsy,I work with victims of crime and am also a software consultant. As well,I created and maintain a community based website/blog called Gold River Buzz,which is an interactive site for the citizens of our beautiful community.
